We went to Utah! It was so fun spending time with family and being able to enjoy lots of outside time!! We were able to stay for almost three weeks and packed those weeks with lots of fun, family time and relaxation. So nice.
Our trip included a celebration for Mark's birthday! We had a party up the canyon, it was beautiful. Mark was very surprised with a gift to an Eagles game, so awesome!
Sophie was able to wear her "velvets" jk. She got a pink velvet jumpsuit as a gift and hasn't been able to wear them, it'd be a little toasty in the desert heat.. so you better believe we busted it out for the party ha ha. She was probably so hot in them but I was determined to use them! Dustin put her hands in the pockets and she didn't take them out for the rest of the night!
We loved some morning walks up the canyon. Oh how we miss being so close to that gorgeous canyon!!
Since we were there the 4th of July week we were able to go to Colonial Days in the park. It was so fascinating to see what life back then entailed. Definitely grateful for all those who lived during that time. What hard work!
Here we are inside a replica of the captain's quarters of the Mayflower. I'm pointing to our ancestors names who were on the list of passengers of those who came over on the ship. It's cool that both Dustin and I have ancestors that made that voyage... and a little weird... we won't look in to it too much...
Some darn cute colonial children!
The kids at the colonial school
Dustin spent his time at colonial days in the stocks....
Cute little Sophie soaking in colonial days... she just loved it...

These are some great pics and some wonderful memories! We miss you!
